Challenge
Over half of married women use a pill for birth control while 8% rely on their partner for a condom. Unintended pregnancies disproportionately disadvantage women and girls, and this impact is both a cause and an effect of gender inequality. 
Insight
Men do not have access to alternate methods of contraception to condoms and vasectomies, making shared contraceptive responsibility practically impossible. 
With the onus of birth control firmly on women, a male alternative would challenge this and revolutionise the world of birth control.
Solution
With many variants of the male pill currently being tested, February 2023 saw a breakthrough in the testing of a new on demand, non-hormonal male contraceptive pill. 
Looking towards a future of this pill lining our shelves, Point Blank is a male contraceptive subscription service breaking down stigma and celebrating shared contraceptive responsibility.
Informed by the ‘tongue in cheek’ nature of the brand name, a direct tone of voice and a playful yet trustworthy visual language informs and reassures users through their contraceptive journey.
